Here at Waterside all of our bonded frameworks are designed using our inhouse CAD CAM System, 3Shape Design Software and Wieland Milling Unit from Ivoclar & Wieland. All of the frameworks are milled out at a thickness of 0.3mm to provide optimum porcelain aesthetics without compromising the strength of the framework.
One of the benefits of using 3shape design software is that all of our designs can be sent to the client for them to oversee the design process and confirm if they are happy with the design.
We provide restorations in materials such as:
- IPS Emax Press (biocompatible lithium disillicate glass ceramic ingots)
- Zirconium (zenostar zr translucent; this material comes in a variety of shades and can be milled in full context)
- Zenotec ZR (this material is generally used when the prep is darker tan the required shade as it has excellent masking properties)
- Gradia (light cured ceramic composite resin)
The restorations we provide are both short and long span bridges, layered crowns, full contour crowns, veneers, inlays/onlays and Maryland type bridges.
The above materials provide natural light during transmission and opalescence to create a more natural restoration whilst still providing optimum strength.
Non Precious Frameworks
For all of our metal restorations we design them using our CAD 3 Shape Software and cast in a Cobalt Chrome Bonding alloy which is both nickel and beryllium free to provide peace of mind for you and your patients.
